High-Contrast Kineticism

This film festival transforms the absence of dialogue into presence of movement, sound, atmosphere, and emotion. Moody, saturated colors, intimate framing, blurred movement, light trails, grain, and distorted color suggest stories told through rhythm, atmosphere, and physical presence instead of dialogue. The imagery feels in motion even when still, creating a sense of emotional intensity. Silence, expression, energy, and innovation all speak louder than words.

Advertising Campaign


This campaign uses isolated sound effect subtitles as miniature, silent queues pasted throughout the city to lure target audience members into wanting to learn more and attend the film festival. Each sticker evokes a moment of a film but you never see (or hear) it to imply that silent cinema can still evoke emotion.
